We traveled in time at the Vassilis Zoulias SS 16 Fashion show and it was not just the clothes and the music…. it was much more… because we felt so!

Part of 18th Athens Xclusive Designers Week – AXDW, the Women in Mykonos through the decades was a spectacular show.

Hundreds of stylish guests enjoyed a fashionable experience at the Athenaeum InterContinental Athens. We saw outfits inspired by the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s and jewelry by Pericles Kondylatos, worn by 44 stunning models.

It’s kind of strange, since I have survived the 80s that these are the clothes I find the hardest to wear again… but don’t get me wrong, I am not making any major statements here…

Of course, as a 40 plus style blogger, I was impressed by all the 40 plus models, Vicki Koulianou still has that killer hot body exactly as I remember it and Mara Desipri looks gorgeous and has a killer photography talent and… attitude!

Yes, Jenny Balatsinou and Vicky Kagia are even prettier than you see them on TV.

Yakinthi Karaviti-Politi always classy and stunning, making 70 the new 60!

Vassilis Zoulias worked two months for these 20 minutes. And it showed!

I love girls nights out. We went with Lena Harizopoulos, the lifestyle blogger of Lena’s Black Book, to the Fashion show, then to the coctail party that followed and our night didn’t end there.

We had fun at the Singles party, at a stunning apartment, at the heart of Athens, filled with the most incredible pieces of art… from Chryssa (Vardea-Mavromichali) the renowned Greek American artist to Marina Abramovic, the extraordinary Serbian performance artist based in New York.

Well maybe, Greece hasn’t lost all of it’s glamour just yet!!!!

I was wearing a black mini Self Portrait dress, Saint Laurent Paris (80mm) ankle boots and the Chloe Drew bag ( love the nano ) and Lena was wearing Vassilis Zoulias
