In celebration of the opening of Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal exhibition, Farfetch the online global community of over 300 visionary fashion boutiques, asked a select group of fashion bloggers including TrendSurvivor to put together a post around the iconic Saint Laurent Le Smoking Tuxedo jacket.

Our creative juices started flowing and we came up with three Fall Winter 2015 timeless classic looks that are stylish and can be worn on different occasions, day to night, season after season.

The Le Smoking tuxedo suit for women was originally created in 1966 by famous couturier Yves Saint Laurent and it was the first of its kind to earn attention in the fashion world pioneering the androgynous style for women, revolutionizing women’s fashion.

The Bowes Museum and the Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent are collaborating to create Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal presenting fifty garments, including some iconic pieces from the Russian Collection, the Mondrian dresses and the Tuxedo. A must-see comprehensive display of the French fashion designer’s work and life.
