In his latest show, Karl Lagerfeld built an airport for a unique fashionable “runway” show.
The head designer and creative director for Chanel is known for putting on fashion shows that blend spectacle and artistry and camp, shows that put the “conspicuous” in “conspicuous consumption.”

By the way, if you haven’t seen Chanel’s twelfth chapter of its “Inside Chanel” series you can find it below.
It explores different facets of the Chanel brand heritage.
“Paris by Chanel” takes consumers on a tour of the five locations in the city that are most important to the house, including the Grand Palais, where the runway shows are now held, and its atelier on Rue Cambon. Showing the spaces where important events in the brand have taken place helps to bridge the gap between the label’s past and present, while presenting Chanel as the most important Parisian brand.
