Dinner Party Velvet – Lace Ensemble

Velvet is a huge Winter trend, fashion-savvy stars had, already, started wearing last Spring. Once considered a textile that’s almost always exclusively worn during cooler months, velvet is quickly becoming a year-round material.

This smooth, luxurious material is the fabric of nobility and royalty. Definitely worth investing in this year’s sales.

I went for a pair of wide velvet pants, for a clean-lined, leg-lengthening silhouette. For a Holidays dinner party, I wore them with a lace blouse and a long velvet shirt dress I had in my closet from the 90s.

However, the ways of styling a pair of velvet pants are endless. I would even wear them with a tank top and sneakers next Spring.

Have you noticed ? My baby King Charles cavalier, Spot, is wearing a red tie!

I love this dog!!!

  1. Finally Prince Spot models with you! I love the picture where he is looking up at you with such a look of love in his eyes. A truly stunning pair of models!

    1. Thank you Julia but usually he doesn’t like photo-shoots very much. When he sees the camera he moves!
Maybe that day he wanted to show off his little red tie…
Stay tuned we did some more…
Lot’s of love and hugs to the Beauclarke Cavaliers family
