Vetements, a new designer label that is on everybody’s lips has created a pair of reworked vintage denim that has rocked the fashion world.
Vetements may have made its debut just a handful of seasons ago, but from the brand’s fast-found street style success, you’d never guess it.

Guram Gvasalia, Vetements’s 30-year-old CEO and brother Demna Gvasalia, the Maison Margiela alumni and Creative Director of Paris design collective Vetements elevates deceptively simple pieces with meticulous construction, considered fabrics and playful proportions.
Vetements’ influence in the fashion industry is only growing stronger as this year Gvasalia took over for Alexander Wang at Balenciaga, and the brand was nominated for the 2015 LVMH prize.
Denim days just got that much more playful with the overall trend we’ve been seeing everywhere.
Vetements, the label to come from a collective based between Düsseldorf and Paris, created the most desirable, inspiring and obscenely expensive pair of jeans we have seen in a while.
Worn in many different super stylish ways by style icons all over the world, especially during Fashion Week.
The original ones are constructed by using more than two pais of vintage jeans, cut along the seam and reworked to match each other.
I am planning to recreate the Vetements jeans effect using one pair of old Levis 501, cutting the hem the way you see in the close up pics.
Maybe I will change the position of the pockets too…
