Traveling to Istanbul is always exciting- I fell in love with this magical place immediately many years ago- however, staying at a beautiful hotel like Istanbul Swissotel The Bosphorus proved equally important.
Each time I visit Constantinople, as we call Istanbul in Greece, I leave with a warm feeling and an urge to come back with somebody I love to share the amazing East meets West experience.
So this time, I traveled with my kids, Niki and Niko. Even though I have stayed at Ciragan Palace in the past and I would consider trying the Four Seasons at the Bosphorus if it was only for a day or two, I believe Swissotel is the best choice not only because it has equally breathtaking views and high quality luxurious standards but also because it is value for money.
It is positioned walking distance from Nicandasi, the chic shopping area, safe to walk around at all times, is near to Dolmabahce Palace and the tram. We had a spacious room with an unforgettable view and perfect round the clock service. A member of the Leading Hotels of the World and listed on the 2011 Conde Nast Traveler Gold List, Swissotel The Bosphorus, is a five-star luxury hotel right in the centre of Istanbul I definitely recommend.
Nestled within 65 acres of historical gardens with world-class shopping and vibrant nightlife nearby, it offers 497 guest rooms and suites, featuring state-of-the-art technology and exclusive amenities. For guest staying in Executive rooms, the Swiss Executive Club lounge provides additional luxury and exclusivity.
The swimming pool area is perfect. After a long day sight seeing there is nothing better than a Turkish hamam at the award-winning Purovel Spa & Sport and swim in the pool.
Stay tuned … I will tell you all about the best places to visit in Istanbul and you can check out Niki’s outfit post wearing her new Isabel Marant canvas sneakers she got on sale from Beymen.

The views from this lovely hotel are stunning. I have been to Istanbul several times and I agree that it is one of those fascinating places that you just fall in love with which makes you want to return.
