Knowing what and how much to pack into your suitcase can be a real dilemma. You obviously want to look drop dead gorgeous as you stroll up and down the golden sands, but taking your entire wardrobe will pose a problem at the airport.
While grabbing some budget flights to Turkey might have saved you some cash, they’ll likely have come with a strict baggage allowance. So, to make sure that you’re definitely a beach babe rather than a beach bum on your trip, here are a few beach staples and helpful hints for your packing.
Floppy hat
The temperatures can get incredibly hot in Turkey, especially at the height of summer. If you plan on lazing around on the beach all day, protection is an absolute must. However, you can still look fantastic and stay sage. Choose a fashionable floppy hat that won’t take up a lot of space in your suitcase, but will keep the sun out of your eyes and off your face not to mention making you look fabulous as ever.
Sundress

While the thought of wearing the same outfit twice might send you into shock, it can be done on holiday. A sundress is the ideal piece of clothing for your Turkish getaway so throw it on over your bikini while you’re relaxing on the beach or nipping up to the bar for a cocktail before dressing it up later in the week for a night on the town. No one will ever know!

Sarong
Similar to the sun dress, a sarong is perfect for covering your modesty while spending time on the beach. You might be willing to bare all when topping up your tan but if you want to take a stroll along the shore with the sea lapping against your feet, it’s probably best to cover up and sarongs are perfect for this.
Shoes

Now girls, it might be hard to narrow down your selection to just a few pairs of shoes but tough decisions have to be made when packing. It’s important to think about it wisely, unless you’re happy to spend over the odds for every pair at check-in. Make sure the shoes you choose can be worn with at least three of the outfits you’ve selected. In general, it’s best to stick with a pair of flip flops (a must for the beach), casual flat shoes for the daytime and some classier sandals for the evening.
Swimsuit
You can go crazy here and pack three swimsuits. There is a logical reason behind it, honestly. If you have a tiny bikini that makes you look hotter than the midday sun, it’s unlikely to give you the support you need when trying your hand at water skiing or volleyball. Instead, make sure you’ve got another back up handy – one-piece costumes or a tankini and boy shorts are good alternatives. You’ll still look gorgeous!
If you’re planning on exploring the ancient east but struggling to keep a lid on your suitcase – stick to these top beach staples and you won’t go wrong!
Have a lovely Weekend!!!
