I just read about the best looks of the week as chosen by Style.com readers and I thought what a brilliant idea! My readers would love a recap of the most inspiring new trends.
Why not start Monday with some fresh ideas to try this summer? Get out of your comfort zone… Try a new color or a new style. It is refreshing…
Favorite Print of the week- Black and white Daisy
Black and white daisy prints are one of the freshest floral motif. Carolina Herrera’s elegant, red-carpet-ready gown takes it a step further. However, for a more casual summer look, I have spotted the cutest Missguided daisy swing dress.
Best Style Tip of the week- Clashing Prints
It took me two years to master the art of clashing prints and actually feel confident wearing them. You can read the 4 Important Rules for Mixing Prints for guidance. You can see what I did here.
Thom Browne clashing rainbow-hued patterns (left), Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli seventies-inspired psychedelic prints from Valentino latest Resort collection. (right)
Colors of the week- Go Bold
With the world cup and all those colors of the Brazilian flag everywhere bold colors are hot.
I love the Jamaica national colors—red, yellow, green, and black M Missoni used on this dress.
Bucket hats are back!
That’s nice to know. I never stopped wearing bucket hats it’s nice to see they are trendy again. Did you see Rihanna’s floral bucket hat she wore at the a Brooklyn Nets game? Cute!
The second picture is from the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015 menswear show.
Neutrals the safe chic choice
You can never go wrong wearing neutrals. I love the neutral-striped ensemble at Chloé.
Overalls are still trendy for model off-duty
Overalls are still trendy! Nina Ricci’s lacy overalls are perfection! Alessandra Ambrosio’s stone-washed dungaree looked cute with a tie-dyed tee and mirrored aviators. I love how you can dress them up with a shirt and high heels or down with a lace top and flat sandals
I got mine from Asos you can buy it here.

I’m all about overalls, but not sure I can get behind the bucket hat trend. Just reminds me of my granddad’s old fishing gear…ha! Thanks for sharing, Nina!
The bucket hat is the easiest for me to follow ..it’s just reminds of my kids when they were babies and we were shopping at baby gap!
What a great round up! I love the floral skirt by Thom Browne, absolutely gorgeous! xo
I love the zig zag dress!!!!
