By definition, foulard is a lightweight twill or plain-woven fabric of silk or silk and cotton, usually having a small printed design. Gianni Vercase’s iconic Italian brand, founded in 1978, made foulards synonymous with his glamourous brand. And as you will see, foulards for Spring Summer 2012, seem to be gradually taking the lead in trendy dress and shorts fabrics.
