Travel – London | La Fromagerie… Have a Stylish Lunch Date!

La Fromagerie

When my friend and dentist Betty asked me for a stylish place to have lunch in London I immediately thought of La Fromagerie!! My favorite place to have wine and a cheese platter or even just coffee. I soon realized that I had taken some pictures when I was in London this February that I never posted… don’t ask me why… I hope they can give you the vibe of the best cheese shop in England that is also, an unconventional and stylish tasting cafe for the perfect lunch date!

Patricia and Danny Michelson opened the first shop, situated in Highbury Park N5, in September 1992. The second shop, in Moxon Street, just off Marylebone High Street W1, opened in November 2002. Both shops feature cheese maturing cellars.

It is also, a lovely decorated delicatessen shop!!

La Fromagerie has a floor dedicated to well sourced produce, seasonal fruits and vegetables, freshly baked breads, dry store ingredients including excellent extra virgin olive oils and other essential condiments.

In addition to the farmhouse cheeses they also have their on-site kitchen produce … homemade jams and chutneys, biscuits and cakes along with a daily changing kitchen menu of salads, soups and other seasonal dishes which you to take away or enjoy in our tasting café. The quality of everything in this place is amazing!!!
