Wearing total white with dark brown accessories
As those of you who follow me on Instagram know I was in Thessaloniki this weekend for my cousin’s wedding. I stayed at Electra Palace Hotel and my spacious room had an amazing balcony overlooking Aristotelous Square and the sea.
Thessaloniki, the largest city in the region of Macedonia, was founded in the early years of the Hellenistic period, during Alexander the Great’s ecumenical empire. It was also dominated by the Romans and later experienced the glories of the Byzantine era as the “co-reigning city” before succumbing to the ottoman onslaught.

Electra Palace Hotel is located very near the most significant sights and monuments of Thessaloniki, just 300m from the White Tower and 800m from the Archaeological and Byzantine Museum. So, Day 1, we went with my father and my uncles for a walk around the city’s most interesting places and then we had lunch at a trendy cool semi-traditional restaurant called Glykanisos.

The Modiano market is not as lively as it used to be…
I was wearing a white JBrand bermuda jeans and a white linen top, I got from my trip to Santo Domingo. I matched my brown suede leather Prada espadrilles and my Bottega Veneta brown bag. My white coral earrings are from Actus in Paros. I had a wonderful time. I realized that as you get older family lunches and dinners, once in a while, are fun!
