Street Style H and M Conscious- My Exclusive White Suit

Do you want to know exactly what I bought at the H&M cocktail party for the arrival of the Conscious Collection in Greece? Well, I was between the super girly pink embellished dress with the matching clutch and the white women’s suit I had first seen on model Dorothea Barth Jorgensen.

Plus, H&M country manager Dominique Fantaccino was wearing that day and she looked fab. I grabbed the clothes in my size and before having any spumante, I went in the dressing room to try them both on. Bummer, the sizes where not perfect on me.

Then, I had an epiphany, to try on the men’s suit but with the women’s vest. Unbelievable but it looked just right. The size, the fit… everything felt good. The perfect androgynous style suit, is actually a men’s suit! The only minor detail is that the men’s suit has different buttons that the women’s vest. But who cares. I wore my vintage Celine bag and a pair of feminine Diego Dolcini crystal embellished sandals.

 

The Exclusive Conscious collection, which will be available online on April 4, is meant to be worn for parties and events. As H&M’s head of design Ann-Sofie Johansson describes, “I love how this collection has pure glamour and style, and is made from more sustainable materials. For us at H&M, it’s natural to think about sustainability, and to have it at the heart of our work.”
