I love love love reviewing amazing hotels… the Stockholm Nobis Hotel is a super stylish five star contemporary luxury hotel that has everything I wished for.
I went with my friend Dania and we were both impressed by everything in Stockholm.
A must visit place !!!!
Amazing Contemporary Minimal Swedish design
The Nobis Hotel is designed in a style of timeless contemporary elegance by renowned architect and design studio Claesson Koivisto Rune.
The new design interacts and contrasts effectfully with the buildings’ magnificent, culturally protected late 19th century original interiors.
The buildings are superior examples of Stockholm’s unique, lavishly decorated bourgeoisie stone architecture, and both brim with Stockholmian history.
Perfect Location
The Nobis hotel is located in Norrmalmstorg, the central, prestigious square and the most expensive spot in downtown Stockholm.
This contemporary luxury hotel has easy access to the Royal Theatre, most famous and historic shops, museums, galleries, top class restaurants and bars all within a few minutes walking distance.
We tried the Nosh and Chow Townhouse and the Riche which are both walking distance from the hotel.
Note: The ACNE flagship store is at Nobis Hotel. Can’t visit Stockholm without visiting the Stockholm based fashion house. Through founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson’s interest in photography, art, architecture and contemporary culture, an alternative path has been found, turning Acne Studios into a well-respected creator of ready-to-wear, magazines, furniture, books and exhibitions.
Amazing cathedral-like lounge
When you step into Nobis Hotel you are greeted into a cathedral-like lounge with a ceiling height of 28 m, ideal for socializing. My favorite place for afternoon drinks.
Me and Dania at the cathedral-like lounge waiting for our drinks…
Stylish Rooms and Suites
The rooms and suites are individually furnished with modern design by Claesson, Koivisto, Rune. They are all furnished with Dux beds that are made up with Egyptian cotton sheets to create good conditions for you to wake up refreshed.
The bathrooms are luxurious and spacious.
We loved the view… sooo Swedish!
(I am wearing Dania’s Isabel Marant boots (similar here) and an oversized Zara sweater (similar Acne oversized turtleneck sweater )
