PS (Personal Style) – My Shopping Strategy

Stripes Trendsurvivor close up-gold jewelry

What is your shopping strategy? Quantity or quality? Ideally both.. a closet filled with large quantities of unique quality designer garments. Haha.. I mean, if you have to choose? My mother only bought as many quality items as her budget allowed and never went for low-cost, low quality staff not even when she was a teenager, believe it or not. Which is perfect because every single item she gives me is amazing, like this vintage Etienne Aigner striped silk blouse and the blue Chanel coat.

For me as well, shopping is more about building a wardrobe of high quality items and less about buying a lot of fast fashion staff. Not that I don’t do that too but let’s say, it is not my fashion shopping strategy. So, I will proudly tell you, this perforated Prada jacket which looks a lot like the new Chanel, is from Sotris, a stylish boutique in Athens, more than 15 years ago. As for the Vanessa Bruno black leather pants, I got it this year from the Rakas Fashion Bazaar. The nude Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps not only, never go on sale they are also, hard to find because they sell out season after season. So, to answer the question some of you ask me. Yes, there are items for which I pay the full price.
