For my first New Year’s lunch invitation, I chose my nude colored Gucci feather skirt. There is something extremely awesome about feathers and as a fashion enthusiast I value them a lot. I admire the extraordinary work of art, feather dress by Alexander McQueen and I love the Fall Winter 2013- 14 feather outfits by Proenza Schouler and Dries Van Noten because they brought feathers to daywear.

Romantic and dreamy, feathers are this winter’s fashion must. To pull up feathers in a daytime casual chic look you need the right accessories. I wore my feather skirt with a nude color cashmere twin set and a pair of nude Christian Louboutin Pigalle shoes. I was planing a different look, as you can see in this photo-shoot but it was raining cat and dogs that day. There was no way I could wear these delicate satin, fur and lace Rene Caovilla sandals.
