NYFW Street Style Mood-board

For me the best part of New York Fashion Week are the NYFW street style photos of fashionistas, bloggers and off-duty models. My post today is like a mood-board with some of their inspiring looks. Is Denim IN? Yes, it seems it will be in … for ever!

New York Fashion Week is voting for denim again this season. The comfy blue jeans appear in countless iterations. So keep on wearing your jeans with cool jackets and blazers and your shredded jeans with high heels. If you feel you need a new pair, these are my favorite destroyed boyfriend jeans.

Stripes, tartan and more geometric shaped prints are a must for the coming season, as long as they are in black and white.

It is kind of self evident since we were wearing black all summer that white would come next… How to wear white this winter? Use black accessories to create an updated Fall/Winter 2013-14 elegant style or animal prints for an edgy twist.

I am loving Elle’s Strauss look. The new style director of Shopbop is wearing a long white romantic dress she got from eBay, a black biker jacket and peep toe heeled boots.
