No, I’m Not On a Diet I am Eating Healthy

Fresh fruits and vegetables

My title “I’m not on a diet, I’m eating healthy” is my motto and my way of life.  I love vegetables and fruits more than anything else, except maybe ice cream. Eating a fresh mixed vegetable salad with mango, avocado and grilled jumbo shrimps is one of my favorite dishes. So, it is no surprise that I wanted to share these useful nutritional facts as soon as I found them…

Mint

Current researches show that certain enzymes present in mint may help cure cancer. Act as a powerful Antioxidant, protecting the body against the formation of cancerous cells. Mint is a very good Cleanser for the Blood.

Banana Kiwi Mandarin

Facts about Banana

Bananas contain three natural sugars – sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world’s leading athletes.
Avocado

 Facts about Avocado

Avocados provide all 18 essential amino acids necessary for the body to form a complete protein. Unlike the protein in steak, which is difficult for most people to digest, avocado protein is readily absorbed by the body because avocadoes also contain fiber. If you are trying to cut down on animal sources of protein in your diet, or if you are a vegetarian, vegan or raw foodist seeking more protein, avocadoes are a great nutritional ally to include not merely as an occasional treat, but as a regular part of your diet.

Avocados provide the healthy kind of fat that your body needs. Like olive oil, avocadoes boost levels of HDL (the “good” cholesterol.
