Madrid- Le Cabrera … Scrumptious Cocktails, Chic Gourmet Tapas and Fashionable People

La Cabrera Madrid’s Trendy Tapas bar

A one night stop over in Madrid gave me the chance to visit the most amazing trendy gourmet tapas bar, Le Cabrera!! Centrally located, in a smart area with lots of boutiques and galleries, between Chueca and the Paseo de Recoletos. The place is run by Michelin-starred chef Sergi Arola with head chef Benjamin Bensoussan from Marseilles and offers scrumptious cocktails, delicious food, a definitely good looking Spanish grown-up crowd. What a lovely way to spend a night with my girlfriends…

I am not into sitting at a bar and watching the action in the kitchen so I preferred the downstairs bar which by the way, I heard, gets going as soon as people start spilling out of work in the late afternoon.

Champagne Coctail : Pasion Fresa

The cool cocktail bar downstairs is run by leading Argentinean mixologist… cocktail maker Diego Cabrera. I had the Champagne Coctail : Pasion Fresa that was amazing..the first zip has a  strawberry sparkling taste and then you feel the passion fruit… Oh…

Stairs

The amazing decor os by Luis Galliusi, another Argentinean who happens to be the capital’s hottest interior designer. Even the uniforms are from El Ganso, Madrid’s prep-tastic retro label.

Bloody Mary…Salad

Unbelievable dish, the Bloody Mary salad tastes like spicy Bloody Mary Cocktail mixed with a Caprese tomato mozzarella salad!!!

Gourmet hamburger with truffle

What can I say about this gourmet hamburger that could explain the taste… Imagine, a tasty slightly cooked delicious meat with a mousse tasting expensive truffle…

:))

I was impressed by the reinvented traditional recipes!!! Spain’s top chef has created a trendy fun place where I enjoyed unforgettable food and amazing cocktails!! .. Thank you Cecil for suggesting Le Cabrera!!!!

Have a lovely Day!!!
