When we went with Niki, my daughter, for a long weekend in London, we not only got our baby Cavalier King Charles Spot but also we went shopping for Spring sweaters and saw a very funny theatre play.

We did some casual outfit photo-shoots for Trend Survivor, photographing each other in the busy streets of Covent Garden. Mine is coming up soon…

I captured Niki in her new oversized sweater from Gap that she matched with a pair of skinny DKNY brick color pants. No need to tell you she almost constantly wears the Isabel Marant hidden heel khaki sneakers and the green Proenza Schouler medium bag. Her casual effortless look was for a day around the shopping area in London.

We explored for casual reasonably priced youthful fashion, TopShop, Urban Outfitters and H&M but the winner this time was the sales rack at Gap. Have you noticed? It seems Gap has a different collection in the UK.

Later that day we went to the theatre and saw “One Man, Two Guvnors” a National Theatre production. A play by Richard Bean, an English adaptation of Servant of Two Masters, a 1743 Commedia dell’arte style comedy play by the Venetian playwright Carlo Goldoni. It was very very funny!!!

    1. That’s what Niki wears at uni… just replace the Isabel Marant sneakers with all stars.
