As I promised last week, I will show you pictures of my friend Lara’s stylish Victorian Townhouse apartment in London. Even though her contemporary style living space looks like it’s from the pages of Elle Decoration it feels very warm and cozy!
It is located in a quiet residential building in Holland Park and is walking distance from Westfield London, the city’s ultimate luxury shopping and leisure destination.
You can see the entrance and the garden in my outfit post.
Lara created a cozy, yet extremely stylish mix by fusing influences from France and England. French vintage classics harmoniously coexist with stainless steel contemporary furnishings.
Adding a splash of Spring colour to her home with these custom made cushions using Designer Guild fabrics.
My favorite pillow is the one with ornate gathered leaves and berries that repeat across the front of the
Calaggio Peony Cushion by Designers Guild.
The open-plan living-dining space is practical, especially if you plan to spend a few days in London with your family.
Benefiting from high ceilings and large rooms this Kensington flat offers stylish central living. Featuring tall bay windows overlooking a well maintained front garden and open plan living in a beautiful residential street.
The big windows allow plenty natural light and the white wooden floor make the living room look even more spacious.
Take inspiration from this London apartment and opt for a colorful palette of pinks and greens. Contrast with black and white…
The marble fireplace adds luxurious feel.
I love the stripped green and purple rug. The structural stripes are ideal for added dimension to the living room.
Multicolor Designers Guild Rugs
The double bedroom has enormous closets and big windows.
Lara undoubtedly has an eye for stylish design!
The two bedroom apartment can accommodate four people and it’s available for rent from airbnb.com and homeaway.com.
We go back with Lara a long time. This picture was taken in Skopelos ..hmmm 20 years ago… I think…
I will be back in her house for London Fashion Week but she will be in Canada…
Have a lovely Day!!!
It’s really wonderful!

What an adorable photo–viva la friendship!
Thaaank you 🙂
I think that photo I took; in fact, I’m certain of it and I also think it’s taken in Clapham Common/London when I was renting that top floor 1-bed flat (also known as ‘Peristeronas’)!
