Lifestyle blogs TrendSurvivor Blog birthday

When I read an exclusive interview of Dr. Maya Angelou the celebrated poet, memoirist, novelist, educator, dramatist, producer, actress, historian, filmmaker and civil rights activist on the role of the written word in human culture I thought this will be my 4th TrendSurvivor blog birthday post!

I know answering the very fundamental question of why we write  has little to do with lifestyle blogs and fashion posts but it has everything to do with why I enjoy so much doing it!

Answering the very fundamental question of why we write and explore the role of the written-word in culture, social change and the story of humanity itself …..

…We write for the same reason that we walk, talk, climb mountains or swim the oceans — because we can, said Maya Angelou to thoughteconomics.  We have some impulse within us that makes us want to explain ourselves to other human beings. That’s why we paint, that’s why we dare to love someone- because we have the impulse to explain who we are. Not just how tall we are, or thin… but who we are internally… perhaps even spiritually. There’s something, which impels us to show our inner-souls. The more courageous we are, the more we succeed in explaining what we know.

Thank you ALL for giving me a reason to express myself in this creative, enjoyable way!!!!

I hope you like my new theme. Lifestyle blogs are getting bigger and better…
