Last year The Right Shade of blue was 234f91, then early this spring, I was inspired by light blue and thanks to Yanna, I am in love with midnight blue. Midnight blue is a dark shade of blue named for its resemblance to the identifiably blue color of a moonlit night sky on or near the night of a full moon. The Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2013 collection is completely in this mood. Massimiliano Giornetti’s Ferragamo runway included many shades of black and navy. So be ready for more dark blue shades for next season too.

I’ve always like light blue too and I love blue denim, but I don’t have much midnight blue in my wardrobe. It’s a subtle change from wearing black all the time though and still can be worn with a variety of colours because it’s a dark shade.
