I have created a check list which I have saved on my iPhone notes to avoid unpleasant surprises like forgetting my MacBookPro charger, which I did on my last trip. Vassia brought me her charger to Paros. It may seem like a no-brainer, but making a packing list forced me to differentiate between what’s necessary and what’s not. Plus, the check list keeps me on track before creating my travel, beach and night out outfits.
All You Need for a Summer Three-Day Getaway
It probably goes without saying, but if you pack at least one day prior to your departure. You will be far less likely to hastily insert extras that aren’t necessary and forget things that are necessary.
Necessary items
4 pairs of undies
2 bras
2 swimsuits
swimming goggles
Beauty Products
toothbrush, toothpaste
shampoo, conditioner, styling
suntan lotion face, body
after sun lotion
medicine you might need.
Clothes
1 white button-up. You can wear it with shorts, pants or even as a cover up at the beach
2 tank tops
1 hat
2 tees The Splendid ones are the best. You can even sleep in them.
1 pair of chinos
1 pair of skinny jeans
1 pair of denim cutoffs. I love this Asos destressed jeans cut offs.
1 pair of shorts (cotton or linen)
1 long dress
1 skirt
1 short dress
1 scarf
2 sunglasses
1 pair of socks
1 jacket. I usually pack a light weight Prada leather jacket or my denim All Saints one.
1 long cardigan
1 pair of flat sandals or flip flops
1 pair of espadrilles or heels
1 bag for the beach and travel
1 clutch for night

camera, cable, charger, 2nd battery
mobile, charger
MacBook Pro, charger

Ill have to take your advice because I love traveling, but I always seem to be packing so much that it becomes a bother to carry. By the way, I love your suitcase 🙂

I have to also remember to bring a reusable shopping bag. Some cities charge for bags which I agree with, however, I always have my bags in my car. So now especially when I fly, I have to add it to my list along with your great suggestions. I’m in love with the bird!
I have the bags in the car too… maybe I could use my beach bag….I am in love with the bird too…
