The cultural and religious holiday celebrated annually on 17 March for the death date of the most commonly recognized patron saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick is the day when fashion bloggers turn their online pages green.
The holiday is widely celebrated in Britain, Canada, the United States, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. On St Patrick’s Day it is customary to wear shamrocks, the plant that is a symbol of Ireland.
