Inès de la Fressange : Parisian Chic…A Style Guide
My subject today is, the two new little red books about fashion and style written by top models in France and in Greece. Inès de la Fressange, at 53, is a mother of two, a model was a Chanel muse and still looks stunning!!!
She, also, had the guts to pose topless for Madame Figaro Magazine last year! I always admired her seemingly effortless style and elegance! Yeah! Of course, I want to read her book on style and learn all her tips!
In her new book Parisian Chic…A Style Guide, the Celebrity model, writer Inès de la Fressange shares the well-kept secrets of how Parisian women maintain effortless glamour and a timeless allure. She offers specific pointers on how to dress like a Parisian, including how to mix affordable basics with high-fashion touches, and how to accessorize. Her step-by-step do’s and don’ts are accompanied by fashion photography. In addition, the book is personalized with her charming drawings.
Inès also shares how to bring Parisian chic into your home, and how to insert your signature style into any space. Complete with her favorite addresses for finding the ultimate fashion and decorating items, this is a must-have for any woman who wants to add a touch of Paris to her own style. I am sure it is worth reading…at Kirna Zabete it is sold out but it is available at Amazon- Parisian Chic: A Style Guide by Ines de la Fressange

What I think about style… easy to say but hard to do! However, I totally agree with Alexander McQueen! Style nowadays, comes from the idea of mixing luxury and mass-market fashion in a very modern way! Wearing head-to-toe designer has become a bit passe…. It’s a new era in fashion and there are no rules. It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together. Be creative and express yourself! It doesn’t matter what you wear, as long as it suits you, and as long as you feel pretty….
Have a lovely Day!!!
