Just when I was ready to pack my selfie stick for our family trip in Rome, I found out about the Flytographer photography service that coordinates candid, informal photo shoots to capture special travel memories.

Using the Flytographer photo service we connected with Rome’s amazing local professional photographer Roberta Perrone. Flytographer’s “Shoot Concierge” Jen, got in touch with me to coordinate the entire shoot. The shoot Concierge made sure our time slot got scheduled into Roberta’s calendar and collected a bit of more information about my vision for the shoot including location, style, etc.

We instantly connected with Roberta, we spoke the same language about photography and she is very creative. However, the weather in Rome was rainy and it was our last day in Italy so we had to work the best we could with the light we had.

With the Villa Borghese gardens, the large landscape garden in the naturalistic English manner and the 18th century built, Spanish steps as our backdrop we shot our family pics and portraits in Rome.

A link to an online gallery and hi-resolution download of the photos was available after 2 days of our shoot. That was fast!

A 60 minute shoot usually has a guarantee of 30 photos minimum.
