Refresh your home by painting one blue wall… Ok, it doesn’t have to be be blue even though I have found some beautiful images of living rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms to inspire you. All of them are in different shades of blue.
According to New York designer Bunny Williams: “Blue is one of the easiest colors to live with and is most people’s favorite hue.” So consider a painted accent wall and for a dose of drama, paint one wall a dark color.
I love painting walls…It is the easiest DIY ever and it gives me a great rewarding feeling.
Here are a few important tips when painting:
Preparing the room is extremely important.
1. Remove all switches and outlet covers keep track of screws by taping them to the covers.
2. Roll paint in a W Motion to prevent roller marks.
3. Cover the floor with nylon.
