Up to now the only way for me to get absolutely perfect beach hair was after a day of swimming in the Aegean sea. Sea salt has the most amazing volumizing curling effect on my hair.
However, I recently read an article on the “A beautiful mess” blog on how to get Awesome festival hair using a DIY hair spray.
It works!!!!
Almost like the real thing minus the fun at the beach…
DIY Beach Hair Sea Salt Spray
You will need:
1 cup warm water
1 teaspoon coconut-scented conditioner (for a true summer scent)
1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
small squirt of gel
a spray bottle
In a small spray bottle pour the warm water first and then add the conditioner, coconut oil, salt and gel. Shake until it all dissolves and mixes together.
