Last weekend we went on an “India” girls only trip to Maria’s Xanthakou and Pavlos Samios home in Aigina.
We bonded as a group on our trip to India and it looks like we will keep on traveling as a team for the rest of the year.
All easy. All fun. No boys….
Our visit to Aigina was no doubt, a great way to unwind!
The Temple of Aphaia
Visiting the Temple of Aphaia is a must when you travel to Aigina. A magical place with strong positive energy and an interesting small Museum.
The Temple of Aphaia (Greek: Ναός Αφαίας) or Afea is located within a sanctuary complex dedicated to the goddess Aphaia on the Greek island of Aigina, which lies in the Saronic Gulf. Aphaia (Greek Ἀφαία) was a Greek goddess who was worshipped exclusively at this sanctuary. The extant temple of c. 500 BC was built over the remains of an earlier temple of c. 570 BC, which was destroyed by fire c. 510 BC. The elements of this destroyed temple were buried in the infill for the larger, flat terrace of the later temple, and are thus well preserved. You can read more here
Comfy Travel Outfit Army Style
When traveling during Spring to the Greek islands, I always pack my army style Zadig et Voltaire jacket, my Alexander Wang Marti backpack and the matching color Isabel Marant shoes.
The Isabel Marant, Étoile’s suede Bobby sneakers, with their low, concealed wedge heel and versatile hue, are a must for stylish girls on the go. I can wear them with everything from miniskirts to denim shorts and skinny jeans.
