Reinvented 1960 style dresses is the theme of this personal style post. I was invited to a gallery opening and then for dinner at a trendy restaurant down town and I needed an afternoon to night stylish look.

Inspired by the sixties fashion comeback and the monochrome 1960s style dresses at Valentino from the Fall Winter 2014-15 collection I decided to wear a shorts jumpsuit with contrasting white collar and see-through back. I got it last year from Zara but a black and white dress is a key piece for fall.

I am loving the Valentino black and white 1960s style dresses crafted from the label’s ‘crepe couture’ fabric which is a luxurious blend of wool and silk, if you want to invest in a timeless piece.

However, there is a Red Valentino version with a swan a white collar that looks super cute and quirky!

My favorites from the new collection, reasonably priced, I mean, are a white collar black shirtdress at Asos designed by Jack Wills and a black dress with white collar and brooch detail by Ted Baker.

The Valentino rockstuds hand-embellished leather pumps are elegant yet super super cool. Worth their price tag because of their classical edgy style, the practical mid heel and decorative three-strap design. They can comfortably take you from gallery openings to dinner…
